My mutant power

May 15th, 2008

I just went for a walk. It’s 101 degrees outside.

I was comfortable. Perhaps a bit warm by the end of it.

This is my mutant power. When I lived in Phoenix, I was quite happy at 100 degrees. (120 was a little hot even for me, though.)

The downside of this is that I’m cold at anything below 72 degrees…

That is mutant. I’m never comfortable at more than 90 degrees, and my preferred temp is around 75. Cold starts at 40.

Cold starts at 72. Hibernation starts at 40. :)

Wait until perimenopause. Your body will ignore all ambient temperatue cues and swing from one end of the temperature continuum to the other without obvious reason.

Umm… Maybe I’ll move into a climate that does the same thing.
