You snooze, you lose.

This alarm clock is completely awesome. Except I really fear the results. I think I’d set mine to Focus on the Family, or one of those book-burning clubs.

    Very cool, Vy. Sort of the reverse effect from what I proposed in my Ornery American essay on taxes. And the really fine print at the bottom, where the clock maker gets 50% of what you “donate” — now that’s capitalism in action. Or maybe extortion.

    I’d probably donate my money to the military. Or a group that’s against homosexual marriage, like Focus on the Family.

    I wonder if there’s a way to do this kind of tricky charity donating things to organizations you actually like. For example, maybe I would have one organization and Brina another. Then, whenever I make some kind of mistake, I have to donate to Brina’s charity. And vice versa.

    Well, presumably you can name any charity you want.
