I’m going to space camp!
Not actually space camp, but Launchpad! It’s a NASA-funded astronomy workshop for writers. There was a last-minute cancellation, so I’ll be going as an alternate. I leave on Sunday.
I’m stoked.
This will put interesting pressures on my Write-a-Thon goals…

Oh good! I’m glad to hear you were at the top of the list as an alternate! I’ll see you the last weekend, as I’m going to come up and see folks!

Awesome! It’ll be great to see you again.

How exciting! I look forward to hearing about it.

Congratulations!
(And the selfish side of me thinks, “Ah, yes, then after Vy gets back, her critique of my latest space story will be interesting!”)

Well, now I’m jealous.

Hey, I’d love to go to Iceland. And play with puppets, too.

Astronomy camp! So very awesome!
Vonda will be there, too. It should be great. Mike really knows his stuff.
