Write-a-Thon: Day 23
What a weird experience. I had Africa and Hearing today. I had a cool idea. I know how most of the story goes, and I liked the idea.
I absolutely couldn’t write it. I stared at a blank screen for hours. Then I got grumpy, went for a walk, and stared at the blank screen for even longer. It was crazy.
Then I took a bath. And a different idea came to me–completely unrelated to this one. So I sat down to write it, and it came out fine. 700 words about alien abduction and mistaken identity.
Very strange. I guess that was the story that wanted to be written today.
